Baby & Toddler Group

We have a vibrant and welcoming Baby and Toddler Group at our school, which is run on behalf of our school's nursery by a key group of staff and volunteers. The group is open to all families or carers in Horrabridge or surrounding villages, with children up to the age of three years old, when they receive their Nursery funding. This enables us to tailor our provision and activities to those precious early years, from newborn babyhood all the way up to being Nursery ready. 

We run two sessions a week and you are able to choose to attend either the Monday group or the Friday group. Due to demand, we are unable to offer spaces for both sessions. We aim to give you a warm welcome and are happy to introduce you to other group members. It's a joy to see new friendships develop but we know coming to a new group can be daunting. Our staff and volunteers are always on hand for a chat and we love baby cuddles!

Our group benefits from having its own separate building within the school grounds. We have a soft play area with a ball pool, a designated baby play space, and a wide variety of activities and toys to promote interaction with your child and the development of skills. When the weather allows, we have an outdoor area and access to the school's garden.
